Step 1. Warm-up A treatment begins, when time allows, with a general treatment for the body part that is going to be treated. Palm pressure along the legs, arms or back or a general massage to the upper back or the abdomen depending on the nature of the disorder.

Step 2. Energy linesThe treatment Continues with deeper application of thumb pressure on the energy lines of the routine. Whenever time allows, pressure work is applied to the therapy lines on which the acupressure points of the specific routine are located, previous to the treatment of the points themselves. Working the relevant lines before working the points will make the treatment much more effective

Step 3. Points combinationNow comes the most important part of the treatment routine - the acupressure points. Repeated pressure is applied to the combination of points for several rounds as needed. When the session time is limited, only the points should be worked on. Even working the points alone will yield a very effective treatment.

Step 4. Optional complementary procedures After completing the needed treatment of the therapy points, and when time allows, additional complementary procedures are added. Each orthopedic condition, calls for only specific complementary procedures. Using wrong procedures may be harmful. These procedures should be used only with the guidance given in my book or by a qualified teacher. << Previous Next >>
Step 5. General treatment procedures When time allows and after completing all of the treatment steps, different general massage procedures to different parts of the body may be used as one feels needed. However, one should make sure not to put pressure or otherwise create pain in the painful or sensitive body parts he has just treated. << Previous
