WORKSHOPS

THAI ACUPRESSURE TRAINING PROGRAMS
I offer 2 to 10-day intensive Thai Acupressure training programs worldwide and weekly classes in Israel.

Thai Acupressure - Popular programs

5-day intensive - 50 class hours
10-day intensive – 100 class hours
This longer program includes 2 days of clinical practice and gives the participants the needed time to assimilate Thai acupressure into their Thai massage practice.
12 weekly classes – 80 class hours – in Israel

Format

The training programs can be adjusted to meet specific needs or limitations. I can also craft a tailor-made program to reach any particular goals or objectives. Most of the course time is spent doing one-on-one practical training with the participants under my personal supervision and guidance. These courses are a lot of fun but are also quite intensive and contain a substantial amount of information.

Training subjects
1. The basic pressure techniques of Thai acupressure.
2. The locations of 22 therapy lines and 230 acupressure points.
3. The principles of Thai diagnosis for orthopedic conditions.
4. The treatment procedures of 60 Thai Acupressure routines.

Participants

The courses are open for practitioners and students of manual therapies only. Since the courses are based on my book, every participant should acquire one copy before the beginning of the course. Courses for over 14 participants are given with the help of one of my assistants. Participants who find working on the floor too difficult may use a massage chair and/or a massage table.

Graduates

Graduates of the 80-hour complete program are often ready right from the end of the workshop to use Thai acupressure to treat the orthopedic disorders of actual clients. Graduates of the shorter programs may need to practice treatment sessions with friends and family members before they can treat clients. Their continued self-training must include locating all 230 acupressure points and learning the procedures of all 60 treatment routines as instructed in my book before using them on clients with real orthopedic disorders.

Certificate

A certificate will be awarded to graduates who successfully complete a training program and pass all of the exams. Those who complete my courses at Reidman College will be given an official Reidman certificate with my signature. Graduates of my international programs will receive a certificate provided by me in conjunction with the Thai Healing Alliance International.

Location

The following is needed in order to run a course: A spacious, empty (no tables or chairs), and quiet room with mattresses on the floor, clean sheets, and pillows. Massage tables should be available for participants who wish to use them.
